How to take pictures for engineer report

(Based on this an independent engineer will make a report to determine weather your car is repairable or write-off)

Photo 1: Take a photo of the VIN number usually found in the drivers door jamb or on the windscreen.

Photo 2: Take a photo of the odometer showing the vehicles mileage.

Photo 3: Stand back and take a photo of the front left corner of the car.

Photo 4: Stand back and take a photo of the front of the car.

Photo 5: Stand back and take a photo of the front right corner of the car.

Photo 6: Stand back and take a photo of the right side of the car.

Photo 7: Stand back and take a photo of the rear right corner of the car.

Photo 8: Stand back and take a photo of the rear of the car

Photo 9: Take a close up photo of the license plate.

Photo 10: Stand back and take a photo of the left rear corner of the car.

Photo 11: Stand back and take a photo side of the car

Photo 12: Take a few close up photos of the damage to the car.

Photo 13: Take a zoomed out photo of the damaged area.
